JD, Zack, and Maggie aren't mascots or models—they're family. We call the rolling oak-covered hills near Lake Berryessa home, where mornings begin with fresh coffee overlooking the valley, evenings end beneath incredible star-filled skies, and our three chocolate Labradors—JD, Zack, and Maggie—are never far from our side.
They inspire everything we create because they remind us to slow down and appreciate life's simplest moments—morning coffee with a view, walks through the hills, evenings beneath the stars, and the quiet comfort of being home with the ones we love.
JD – The Gentle Patriarch
Steady, loyal, and always watching over the pack, JD reminds us that the best things in life are built to last. Whether he's relaxing beneath the old oak tree or keeping a watchful eye on everyone, he's the calm heart of Rustic Tail.
Usually found: Lounging beneath the old oak tree—or launching into the pool after a tennis ball. JD takes his retrieving very seriously.
Zack – The Constant Companion
If Diane heads out the door, chances are Zack is right behind her. Whether it's delivering coffee, visiting family, or simply riding along, he's happiest wherever his people are. Zack reminds us that home isn't always a place—sometimes it's simply being together.
Usually found: Riding shotgun, playing keep-away with a stick, or taking one cautious lap through the pool before deciding dry land is a much better idea.
Maggie – The Joyful Adventurer
Curious, energetic, and always ready for the next adventure, Maggie brings excitement to every day. Whether she's exploring a new trail or diving into the pool after a tennis ball, Maggie gives everything 100 percent.
Usually found: Racing JD to every tennis ball and convinced she's going to win every time.
